I decided to do another Immi cover. This time, I went as far as reproducing the video for her song! I recorded all the musical arrangement and then put video clips which I had taken while out on my bike, and arranged them in a similar order to Immi's 'All the way home' short video!
This is probably going to be my last Immi cover for a while, as I'm off to uni soon cant believe it's only been 7 months since I discovered Immi + her music!
Anyway here's the video link! ..

That was super cute!! I loved your cover and my favourite part of the video was how you pulled into the house at the end, it just made it have like...a complete feeling. ^^
It reminds me of when I first watched Imogen's video that was like that! It's great! Thanks for sharing xxx |

@aHeapofImogen Thanks for your reply It felt really nice, doing this little project.. I think mainly, because I was trying to recreate something that Immi has done before. So i a way, I guess I had to imagine I was Immi for a while ..and try and think how she had put it all together xD
ahh,. she is soo inspirational and I really wish I'd found out about her sooner (Ellipse had been out for months, before I first discovered her). I cant think of any other musician or band or anyone, that has this kind of effect on me eee
Thanks for watching/reading my post, anyways x |

Yeah, I like that. "Thinking like Immi" So basically that's like saying "Thinking like a genius!"
I know, me too. I wish I had known her all the way from iMegaphone days! Even though...I was only like, three then. Hehehe |

"thinking like a genius" ....that's absolutely true!! but maaan, is that hard I've spent the last 8 months trying to figure out how Immi does all these amazing songs (and coming quite close to reproducing some songs!) but it just makes me think even more, how incredibly talented she is!
and i was like 7 ish? ..i think last December (when I turned into an Immi fan!), I saw some of Immi's vblogs first, and i thought she was still making the album,.. until i realized the vblog i was watching, was from 2008!?!?! So i was like 'what?? err help!? ' ..felt all confused, as though id had 2 years of my life taken away and missed everything that had happened! hahah soo yeah, wish I'd known about the amazing music of Heap, earlier, but its still great to be part on this musical journey now. anndd there is the Ellipse dvd coming out soon, so there's something else to look forward to sorry, I'm rambling on a bit xD ee |

Yeah, the vBlogs I first heard her in a Coffee shop that my friend worked in. He was playing his iPod on the speakers and Hide and Seek was playing from it and I was like "*_* GRABBY HANDS*" Hahaha, that was in July of last year. And then I searched her on youtube and watched all of her vBlogs. I was totally addicted I felt the same way when I knew I had missed out on the making of the album...even though I was able to watch them, I wished that I could have watched them as they were being made! Grr...oh well Better now then never, huh? xD
And don't worry...I'm obviously all about rambling! xD |

ahh wow! thats cool she must have a really addictive sound in her songs, that attract certain people. Because I never would have expected to like her kind of music,. but as soon as i heard like, one or two other songs by her, i was just like *types Imogen Heap into Amazon.uk ..buys Ellipse
actually, I heard Hide and Seek about 2 years ago and thought it was amazing,. but that was it, n i never heard about her again until last december -someone in my class at college mentioned this guy called jason derulo, who had copied this song (hide and seek) by Imogen Heap.. n i thought 'ahh i know what that song it!' so i went home n looked up Imogen Heap, recorded a cover of H&S the next day, and quickly became addicted to her!!! xD ahh i must have heard Holding out for a hero, in shrek2 as well. I thought 'wow' then, too, but never looked up the song after that. lots of her music feels familiar though, like its been with me, my whole life - even though thats not possible, really
Anyway, its 3am here soo i need sleep really haha I'll probably upload some more Immi cover stuff to youtube at some point soon,. catch ya later! |

Ugh, yeah. Jason Derulo. xD I'm proud to say I found out about that AFTER I knew Imogen Heap too! I don't care for rap >_< Especially with that song in there, it's like eating ice cream with ketchup on it!!!
I must have either heard Holding Out in Shrek too...I honestly don't remember ever hearing it though. Hmmm...xD I might have ran out of the theater or something before it played! Dx Yeah, and I know what you mean. She really is like...apart of my soul now. Like I was feeling kind of lost before and now I feel found with her music in my life! Cheesey, but true!
Okay, thanks for iBabbling! Hahaha xD Sleep well xxx
